CINCINNATI, OH. (September 24, 2007) Healthy Advice Networks, the nations leading provider of physician office-based patient-education programs, is pleased to announce its strategic collaboration with the March of Dimes. Prenatal and infant health content will be provided through Healthy Advice Networks Womens Health Network, a digital screens patient-education program available in 2,400 high traffic obstetricians and gynecologists waiting rooms and reaching 15,400,000 patients and caregivers.
The March of Dimes is committed to reducing the rate of premature births and helping more babies get a healthy start, said Douglas A. Staples, senior vice president of Strategic Marketing and Communications for the March of Dimes. Healthy Advice Networks provides an outstanding opportunity to educate women about the warning signs of premature labor and how they can reduce their risk.
Tom Campbell, Executive VP and General Manager of Healthy Advice Networks, added, Working with the March of Dimes is a wonderful opportunity for us to reach patients and caregivers with vital messages regarding infant health. We know that women are most focused on their health and the health of their unborn babies when they are in their OB/GYNs office and hearing these messages encourages a more informed discussion with their physician. Together with the March of Dimes, we are giving babies a fighting chance against threats to their health.
The Womens Health Network is the winner of three 2006 National Health Information Awards, including the prestigious Excellence in Health Information Award. This single award was given to the program that was judged to have made a measurable difference in the health of its targeted audience. 2006 was the third consecutive year that Healthy Advice Networks won multiple National Health Information Awards.
