National Health Information Awards
Healthy Advice® Networks Recognized Again for Excellence in Consumer Health Information Programming
Healthy Advice® Networks has been selected as a winner in the 13th annual National Health Information Awards. The NHIA awards program recognizes the nation's best consumer health information programs and materials. 2006 is the third year in a row that Healthy Advice Networks has received awards. This year Healthy Advice Networks received awards in both the digital screens Waiting Room Network and the Exam Room Program.
The awards program is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials. The NHIA recognizes the nation's best consumer health information programs and materials. Patricia Henze, Executive Director of the Health Information Resource Center, which organizes the awards program, says, "These awards set an industry standard of quality for consumer health materials, and this 'seal of quality' helps health professionals find the best consumer health information resources for their programs."
The Center, which houses a large collection of public and private sector materials, promotes the distribution of accurate, timely consumer health information materials to professionals in the field.
